  • Delivery improvement project for software development within the Change & IT department of a major Dutch organization in Banking and Insurance. 

    • Objective
      Drastic improvement of the predictability of projects and the reliability of project delivery on the targeted due date.

      Facilitate and manage the improvement initiative in departments with > 50 employees annually executing 50-100 projects in close cooperation with external ICT suppliers and internal departments.
    • How
      A combination of techniques and tools from Theory of Constraints, Lean and Agile.
    • Results
      Increase in due date performance from <50% to >80%. Improved transparency of the work status across project portfolio, which enabled improved decision making and project management.
